I was talking to someone last night about a game that's keeping me stressed out, namely *Doukutsu Monogatari* aka *Cave Story*, which I learnt about here: <http://www.webfroot.co.nz/archives/2005/03/28/smiley-games-1/> Basically it's a legally free platformer for the PC (and Mac I have learnt) that feels like the old school Metroid or Castlevania games. It starts out with you knowing NOTHING about what's going on, and slowly a colourful story and character cast is revealed, a series of interesting weapons and items are collected, and many MANY tough bosses are begging to have smack laid down upon them. There are apparently 3 different endings, with many secrets to be found.
