[secretmoviemonday] Last night...
We watched some movies and they were pretty good. I'd say what they were but I can't think of anything similar. Anyway, thanks Conal and Pete! Next week is Geoff and Brendan who haven't chosen before. This very morning Geoff was defending Steven Segal movies, so, you know... and Brendan has problems of his own. The week after that (the 4th) is the final night. There will be popcorn. -- .Matthew Cruickshank http://holloway.co.nz/
I believe we saw Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars <http://imdb.com/title/tt0086643/>, which combined all the great musical storytelling of David Bowie with a spectacular stage show, no doubt jam packed with technology. Secondly thus, we sat down for several episodes of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" <http://imdb.com/title/tt0271059/> which not only played on the previous interstellar theme, but also gave great insight into the importance of forgiveness in everyday life. And now I would like to say to anyone who has ever done me wrong or given me reason to even consider vengeance: "I forgive you - It's my birthday". sorry, I missed the relevance of that one so I'll make one up for myself. Both man milk and moo milk are contained as a prime factor in the famous 1971 Stanley Kubrick film 'A Clockwork Orange', in the preface of which a milk-loving rebel sets off with but not limited to a goal of sexual activity. Three years earlier, being 1968, Kubrick had produced a film based on the Arthur C. Clarke book '2001: A Space Odyssey' in which an astronaut sets out on a mission to pluto. Although it is never mentioned in the book, the movie or even the 'books on tape' audio casette, a technology that was frequently referred to by my now departed grandfather (on the father's side) as a truly marvelous and astounding technology, the real motive for the trip to pluto was, in fact, to kill sunflowers - a skill passed on through several generations. Isn't the milk in A Clockwork Orange laced with LSD or something similar, though? As in, it's not so much the milk featured but the drug?

Perhaps, but it's not explicitly featured as milk of both man and moo varieties. On 28/06/05, david thewlis <adam_arkin@hotmail.com> wrote:

// This very morning Geoff was defending Steven Segal movies It must be pointed out that he has not watched one of these sober... then again I don't think he ever stops drinking. There is a reason why people that smell of stale beer and urine are homeless. Matthew Cruickshank wrote:
