[secretmoviemonday] Last night...

...we scraped clean from Steven Segal's pomade and... ooooh, lets say grew a little as people too. Thanks to those that turned out despite the threat of Segal -- you're stronger men than I. First was The Shortland Street Movie <http://imdb.com/title/tt0098911/>, thanks to Brendan. 1994's brilliant 2 hour finale where half the cast died in slow motion and flashbacks as a truck plowed through reception and 4 nurses. The truck driver survived, but Chris Warner <http://www.streettalk.co.nz/shortlandstreet/news/8/> just wasn't the same without those dames. Then, it was Hercules in New York <http://imdb.com/title/tt0065832/> where Hercules came down to earth to race chariots and beat on bears wandering upright through Central Park. Thanks Geoff! Next week is the last MMM, so it's my choice. In breaking with tradition there's a movie with subtitles, followed by a tv recording of a movie screened one friday afternoon on channel 1 in '95. It's a great movie. I'd buy a legit copy but the movie's about movie makers getting ripped off and then the movie maker was ripped off... so buying one from the distributor just wouldn't be right. Aro Video don't have it, and there's nigh even a mention of it in .nz web space. Ooooh... mysterious. At work I've been preparing a laptop for my replacement. Please find attached a screenshot of the progress. -- .Matthew Cruickshank http://holloway.co.nz/

Seriously, "Arnie vs Guy in a Bear Suit" needs to be "animated-gif-ified". -- - Brett Taylor Web Developer Development Resource Centre ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phone +64 (4) 496-9511 Fax +64 (4) 4969599 Work ICQ: 252672189 http://www.dev-zone.org/ http://www.globaled.org.nz/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------

hey you picked esactly the right jpeg to buy my scilence. in highschool i was totally obsessed with robes, magic balls, shaven-cept-ponytails, parachuting hotdogs and flying saucers. i even had that haircut for a bit, but no one understood, they all called me (the last of the) mohekin(s), which totally missed the point. although it did lead to this exchange at one point: [on hearing i had a younger brother] is your little brother the last moheakin too? no. i am the last one. [duh!] you see the sort of idiots i had to put up with!

ooo ooo! i know what it is! luke, you should definately get ian to watch it. it's HIS movie. and you won't have to worry about him coming and cramping your style in the future cos it's the last one! karan wrote:
