Last night's movie was Strangeland < http://imdb.com/title/tt0124102/ > featuring a cast from the band Twisted Sister. Dee Snider -the lead singer of Twisted Sister- is a sadist who joins INTERNET CHATROOMS under the name "Captain Howdy" to lure kids to his basement and a fate worse than death. He hacks the gibson and stitches their mouths closed and bleeds them. A dozen girls and boys lie tied up and dripping in his basement before he makes A FATAL MISTAKE and takes the girl of the best cop in town. Later that day the police capture Howdy, imprison him, and over time he's rehabilitated and released. He covers his badass tattoos with makeup. He binds his rebeliously long hair in a pony tail. He's quiet, precise, and simple. But the townsfolk won't let him be and turn up to Dee Snider's house with signs saying "WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE, NO! WE AIN'T GONNA TAKE IT, OH WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT... ANYMORRREEEE". The townsfolk beat the goodness out of Dee, and he returns to his Captain Howdy roots and burns the church down. I give this movie 4 stars out of 5. Oh wait, now that I think about it, we watched The Doom Generation. It was pretty cool. Thanks Daniel! Next week is Bronwyn, who hasn't chosen before.
